Meet Rodrigo Alves a real life Barbie Ken doll.
Alves, who comes from Brazil but now lives in London, has spent over $373,000 on plastic surgery to transform himself into a human version of the plastic Ken doll, partner of Barbie.
33 year old, Alves has had 51 operations and is now in The Guinness World Book of Records as holder of the title of “World’s Most Cosmetic Procedures”. On top of that he has had over 100 cosmetic procedures.
Rodrigo’s medical procedures include a butt lift, silicone chest implants, hair implants, liposuction, calf shaping and an operation to give him eight pack abs.
He has also had 10 nose jobs. And plans to have more because he now has problems with his breathing.
Alves aka “The Human Ken Doll”, has over 400,000 instagram followers and can afford all his surgery because he comes from a rich family who have made their money in property.
Rodrigo’s radical transformation all started in childhood when he believed he was a fat and ugly kid who had bad acne.
“I was the fat and ugly boy [with] a big, wide nose and excluded from society,” says Alves. “Plastic surgery was the only solution. Today I am happy, popular, and much loved because I have learned how to love myself. Also, I am also [able] to express myself with fashion, where before I could not even wear a blazer because it would not fit me. Now everything fits me like a glove!”
With his fit body and porcelain skin Alves has radically transfromed himself from that fat kid with bad skin.
“……plastic surgery turned me into a different person, it’s made me happy and famous.” Well, if this award existed, I bet that Rodrigo would be a favorite to win as well.
Alves is not the only person who wants to look like Ken, Justin Jedcica is another freak who has spent over $100,000 on cosmetic surgery to make him look like a real-life Ken doll.
Alves is still not finished with his extreme makeover and is planning more surgery. Although he denies it’s an addiction.
“There’s no such thing as being addicted to plastic surgery…..Plastic surgery is constant, it’s like getting the MOT on a car.”
Weird fact: Did you know that Barbie was based on a postwar German sex doll.
