Scarlett Johanssen picked up random men in real life for her starring role in the alien movie Under The Skin.
Directed by Jonathan Glazer the stunning film, a The Freaky favourite, features an alien in human form, played by Scarlett Johanssen, who travels around Scotland picking up men, having sex with them and then killing them.
To give the film its believability, director Glazer rigged a van full of cameras and sent Scarlett out to trawl the streets for normal men to pick up.
Scarlett would pull up alongside a man walking down the road, start chatting, offer him a lift, and then a film crew production member would then rush out to get him to sign a release form.
One Scottish man, Kevin McAlinden, described the moment he thought he had ‘hit the jackpot’ when Scarlett pulled over and asked him: ‘Are you single?’
Father-of-two McAlidnen, 29, didn’t recognise the Hollywood star, who was disguised in a dark wig.
‘What man wouldn’t think, “Wow,” when a good-looking woman has just pulled up in a van and comes out with something like that within minutes?
‘She said: “Are you single? What are you doing tonight?”
‘I thought, “Yes! This is unbelievable!” I’d been having quite a tough time in my personal life, so this was like a lucky break. I should have known it was too good to be true.’
