Man tattoos the whole of his back with scenes from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
There are fans and there are superfans. Many love the classic 1968 movie Chitty Chitty Bang Bang but only one loves it so much that he got himself a full back tattoo to celebrate the film.
Dave Hinett is a self-confessed Chitty Chitty Bang Bang superfan. He first watched the film as a child and was mesmerised. He became a collector of all things Chitty related – dolls, toys, puzzles, posters etc But that wasn’t enough to satiate his love of Chitty, so he decided to honour the love of the film with a tattoo that covers the whole of his back. It took 18 months of work to complete the tattoo which features key scenes and characters from the iconic movie, including the flying car and the child catcher.

Dave Hinett, from England, says the 1968 musical film which stars Dick Van Dyke is a masterpiece, and over a quarter of a century after watching it for the first time he still finds time to re-watch it every week.
Interesting fact: The film Chitty Bang Bang is based on a book by Ian Fleming the author of the James Bond books.
