A man on Reddit has revealed he has three testicles. The 18 year old Canadian posted a spectacular photo of his bizarre anatomy on the site and not surprisingly he caused quite a stir with readers keen to know more about his strange condition.
GardenofGandalf (not his real name) said that he had just turned 18 and decided to celebrate by revealing his incredible testicles to the world. “I just know reddit would go crazy over my balls!” he said.
His bizarre medical condition is known as Polyorchidism and only affects a few hundred people in the world.
Having three testicles, a condition known as polyorchidism, is extremely rare. There have been fewer than 250 reported cases in medical literature. Given that the global male population is roughly 4 billion, the actual number of men with three testicles is likely higher than reported but still incredibly rare—probably a few thousand at most.
Most cases go undiagnosed because the extra testicle is often small, asymptomatic, or mistaken for something else (like a cyst).
