Toads ride on a python’s back to escape storm (video)

This is one of the weirdest videos The Freaky has ever seen.

The video shot in Northern Australia shows ten cane toads riding on the back of a three and half metre long python snake.

The bizarre video was shot by Paul Mock at his home in the remote Western Australian town of Kununurra.

In December 2018 a violent rain storm hit his ranch, dumping almost 70mm of rain into his dam. Worried the dam might break its banks, Mock went outside and it was then that he discovered the sttarnge spacetacle.

“The lake was so full it had filled the cane toad burrows around the bank and they were all sitting on top of the grass – thousands of them,” he told Guardian Australia. “He (the snake) was in the middle of the lawn, making for higher ground. He was literally moving across the grass at full speed with the frogs hanging on.”
